About me
Design Manager with 15+ years of experience in digital product design and frontend development. Specialized in UI/UX, design systems, and team leadership, with a track record in both local and international tech companies.
Professional Journey
I took my first steps into the digital world in 2002 as a web designer and developer at Five Stars JSC, building early websites with Photoshop, HTML/CSS, ASP, and MS SQL Server. A few years later, at GMO Runsystem, I had the chance to collaborate with Japanese partners, creating website templates that pushed me to refine both my design and technical skills.
In 2007, I joined Tamtay.vn - Vietnam’s largest social network at the time. It was there that I truly sharpened my front-end development abilities and learned what it meant to design for millions of users, an experience that shaped the foundation of my career in product design and development.
Since 2012, I continued my journey with Got It, an EdTech startup headquartered in California, while working from Hanoi as a Design Leader and Frontend Engineer. During this time, I designed interfaces for both web and mobile apps, built reusable front-end templates, and co-created the company’s Design System using Sketch, Figma, and ReactJS, laying the foundation for consistent, scalable product experiences.
From 2020 to the present, still at Got It, I’ve taken on the role of Head of Design, where my focus has shifted from pixels and code to people and processes. I’ve been building and mentoring a high-performing design team, guiding members in their career growth, and streamlining workflows to foster smooth, effective collaboration that helps both the team and the product thrive.

Alongside my professional journey, I’ve also devoted time to community-driven projects.
At the STEAM for Vietnam Foundation, I contributed as a Frontend Engineer and UI Designer to build an online learning platform for kids, collaborating with professionals worldwide and sharpening my communication skills.
Later, as Head of Design for the Giúp Tôi! Project (shut down after the Covid-19 pandemic), I led a distributed team of over ten designers across Vietnam, delivering high-quality interfaces and creative assets that supported the product and amplified the impact of its marketing campaigns.
